my pal janet, who creates custom wearables at chicago's t-shirt deli, put together this sweet number. starting with one of my favorite jacques lacan quotes, i picked out the fit and color of the american apparel tee, and then the font, color, size, and placement of the text. janet was my guide at every step, and even delivered the final product to me at the whistler.
i'm not ordinarily a t-shirt person; i find them to be overly casual. however, between the inscrutable quote and the minimalist design -- not to mention the love that went into it -- i've got something pretty fancy!
